When I open the Sims4 folder in Program Files/EA Games, I can see six folders. _Installer, Data, Delta, FP01, Game, Support. I've turned on my mods and script mods in the game, however the mods folder does not appear in any of the files.
To be clear, this is the original path to my Sims 4 Mods directory ("directory" is a synonym for "folder"): "C:\Users\testpc\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods". Step 1 - create the new location: copy your Mods directory (or whichever directory you wish) to your desired location.
5 cze 2023 · Try browsing for the correct paths yourself. Click SETTINGS. Click BROWSE FOR PATH. Look for the folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and select this. Close and restart the CC Manager, then reinstall your content from the DOWNLOADS tab to the LIBRARY tab.
TSR CC manager automatically chose C:\Users\MyName\Documents\Origin Games\The Sims 4 but that's not the correct folder. I can tell because after I moved some of my WW mods from that directory into the other, they began to work.
I just got a new laptop with Windows 11. Installed and can run TS4 without issue but now I can't figure out where to place my Mods folder. I tried the route I used for Windows 10 but it's not working. C drive > Users > (user) > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. That's the usual.

19 cze 2020 · if you cant find the documents folder in quick access (documents pathed to USB drive, etc), the path to the Mods folder is through OneDrive in Users (at least for me), ex: C:\Users\(YOUR USERNAME)\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
