I tried using EA's gallery, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to download stuff from there, although it was significantly better than the in-game gallery which they STILL haven't figured out as of Feb. 2023.

I went to the link of the item I want and there's no download. there's only "add to my downloads" but that doesn't do anything. I think either its not recognizing my copy of the Sims or I'm dumb.
This is where you'll need to create an account and download the gallery items from once you have the extension https://www.ea.com/en-gb/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/gallery. Also to note, when searching, click the advance button and untick "maxis curated" or nothing will show up
