22 paź 2013 · The Version of Sims 3 on Steam is Windows PC only. However, you should be able to activate the Serial Numbers provided by Steam on Origin and then play it through Origin on your Mac. This requires to redownload it though. You can download Origin here: https://www.origin.com/us/download.
Get the key from your Steam library and register it with Origin. You'll be able to download and install the Mac version from them.
With saying that, I've run into issues their files. However, I was able to find a fix using the ContentPatch.package along with NonaMena's Ccmerged.package file added to my Overrides folder. 28 lis 2013 · Log in to your steam account, and download Sims 3, but log in with the same account you buyed the game with, but first make sure if the game is available for Mac.
If you choose to buy Sims 3 from Steam or find the game elsewhere online, you can still download and install the store content with the Steam version. If you find the game online, there are alternative ways to get and install the store content as well.
If you still can't download the bundle, try pulling your entire TS3 game folder out of Documents temporarily. Then launch the game, just to the Main Menu—no need to create a new save—and a clean folder will spawn.
