8 cze 2024 · This is separate from the Sims 3 user folder, which is always in Documents > Electronic Arts. But this folder isn't created until you launch the game for the first time. It can also land inside OneDrive's version of Documents, so check there too.
22 lut 2024 · I saw that I had the Overrides, Packages, and the .cfg folder. Inside the Packages folder I have two mods, the no sparkles when building mod and the no intro mod. At this point I close my file explorer and boot up the sims launcher and then the game.
Most people with this problem find that they do not have a resource.cfg so make sure you download one of those and have the files correctly named. Otherwise make sure its .package files in the mods folder as sims3packs or zipped files will not work in the mods folder.

20 mar 2013 · Delete the Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods folder and start try again from step 1. Test! Now if you run the game, your .package files should be fully working in-game!

31 sie 2020 · download files must be installed through the sims3 launcher, in 'downloads'. if the files aren't showing up in the launcher: make sure .zip files are unzipped, and .rar files are extracted into the downloads folder.
