For Sims 4, the process of installing mods and custom content on a Mac is the same as it is on a Windows PC. Standard mods and cc work equally well (or not at all) in both OSs, and the Sims 4 user folder has the same form and function as well.

I have a MacBook air and have just now started gaming with mods, well attempted too at least. I have downloaded the mods via "packages" where they are clearly unzipped, and then i placed them in my file EA/TheSims4/Mods/Mods folder.
I'm having issues getting mods to work on Mac. I have checked the option to enable mods, and as far as I can tell they are in the right folder. I'm not sure what else to do, any ideas?
I recently bought a Mac laptop and installed ts4 but the mods I downloaded do not seem to be working at all. I have enabled the Mods and cc from the game options, I have the mods all in the right folder and they are compatible for Mac, but still they just won't appear to the game when I launch it.
Does anyone have an ideas? I can’t seem to download things and get them uploaded to my sims. I’m using the mods folder and following the steps online but nothing is working.
