Silk Cloth can be farmed fairly easily when level 60 from the "Scarlet Monastery" . If you are grouped and do a 5 man run of SM you will have more than likely obtained a Stack or two of this by the end of the run. You will get even more by having a Level 60 friend run you through it.

I made this Silk Cloth Farming guide to help out players who want to farm the cloths instead of buying them from the Auction House. I decided to search for places with a high density of mobs that I could kill and drop Silk Cloth. I traveled around Azeroth, and after a while, I made a list of places.

I made this Shal'dorei Silk farming guide to help out players who want to farm the cloths instead of buying them from the Auction House. I decided to search for places with a high density of mobs that I can kill and drop [Shal'dorei Silk] .
One of the hot spots to find Silk cloth is Blackhoof Village, Dustwallow Marsh, it’s a small village filled with mobs that will drop plenty of silk. I recommend circling the place until all your bags are full and fully emptying them out before returning. Below is a map of where to find silk in WoW.
5 lip 2014 · The best way to farm imperial silk, is farming Mogu's near Guo Lai Halls. If you use a Potion of Luck, you will for starters earn some easy motes of Harmony and lots and lots of windwool cloth. Keep clearing those mobs for the Guo Lai keys.
Fishing on the SW/SE and middle coasts of Stranglethorn Vale yields a ton of crates that drop leather, silk, runecloth and mageweave bolts, as well as various other items. I've been fishing up these crates for a few days and have tens of bags on the AH.
