Each year, generous donations from our alumni and friends make it possible for the Sigma Chi Foundation to grant academic scholarships and awards to our deserving undergraduate and graduate brothers and sweethearts.
Sigma Chi Foundation was pleased to provide $418,000 in scholarship awards to undergraduate brothers in 2016 to put towards their qualified educational expenses. The application for the General Academic scholarship is open to undergraduates from any Sigma Chi chapter.
The 2024 to 2025 Sigma Chi Academic Scholarships application portal is now open. Thanks to the support of generous alumni and friends through the Sigma Chi Foundation , Sigma Chi was able to award more than $463,000 to undergraduate and graduate student members last fall.

Provides a minimum $1,000* academic scholarship to undergraduate or graduate Sigma Chi brothers who are currently serving or have served on active duty in their country's military—Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or National Guard.
Undergrads: Professors/instructors are excellent choices for letters of recommendation, along with counselors, coaches, employers, and Sigma Chi alumni advisors. Family members and undergraduate peers are not acceptable choices.
