Question. Will Designer 6 discover devices which have older firmware (5.x, 4.x, 3.x, 1.x etc)? Answer. Yes, they will be discovered. But the device's User Interface cannot be opened in Designer 6. To be opened in Designer 6, update the firmware on the devices to v6.x by using Shure Update Utility v2.8.2 or newer. Last Edit Date. 2/22/2024.
14 mar 2024 · Answer. Designer 6 will discover devices with earlier firmware, but you won't be able to control them until they are updated to version 6.x firmware. The best practice is to update all devices to the latest firmware.
