28 kwi 2017 · Shrimp Har Gow take a little more time to make and pleat than your average dumpling but once you get the hang of it you’ll be a Har Gow making machine in no time. Start with the filling that’s made with chopped up shrimp, ginger, bamboo shoots, sesame oil and other yummy ingredients.
7 maj 2009 · Filling. 1 lb raw shrimp, cleaned and chopped. 1/2 cup bamboo shoots, chopped. 1 green onion, chopped. 2 tbsp glutinous rice wine, or sherry. 2 tbsp sesame oil. 1 tbsp soy sauce. 1 tsp salt, or to taste. 2 tbsp tapioca starch. Toss all the ingredients together in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour, up to overnight. Wrappers.
For the dough: Place the wheat starch in a bowl and gradually knead in small amounts of boiling water until mixture is supple and smooth. Roll out thinly and cut into 8-10 cm (approximately 3-4 inch) circles. For the filling: Mix the shrimp, ginger, sesame oil and onion together and season with salt and pepper.
