1 mar 2020 · Put your new studs on either side of your threaded rod. Screw together with several screws from each side and screw to top and bottom plates. Put a nut and washer on the threaded rod and tighten with socket and 1/2" ratchet. Cut off threaded rod flush with top plate. You have now bolted the top plate to the floor.
