2 lis 2020 · Open a new finder window. From the menu bar, click on View. Click on Show Sidebar from the drop-down menu. This will bring back the sidebar menu as shown below. You can toggle back the Favorite list items if it is missing. That’s it. There is no need to go to the terminal or other commands.
When I want to switch between windows using ⌘ Cmd + ⇥ Tab it does not work with hidden or minimized windows. I can see the icons of these windows in the application switcher but choosing them does nothing.
10 mar 2023 · I rebooted my Mac yesterday to discover that Sidebar (with all my favorite folders) is missing - as too is the 'Create New Folder' on the bottom. I've tried all the obvious options on the menus - without success. Of note, View>Show Sidebar option is grey so I can't select it! (iMac Ventura 13.2.1).
The minimize-windows-into-application icon will partially simulate the Windows taskbar, so you will get: where you can clearly see than the "doc" file is minimized into the app-icon and the untitled is opened.
14 maj 2019 · Disable the shortcut in System Settings (formerly System Preferences) by navigating: Apple icon (top left of your screen) > System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Spotlight > "Show Finder search window" (uncheck). On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Desktop & Dock in the sidebar, then go to Mission Control. (You may need to scroll down.) On your Mac, use Mission Control to move between apps that are open or in full screen or Split View, or between spaces you created.
