12 mar 2009 · Hi, I'm looking for something similar to the windows vista sidebar ( the 'widgets' on the right hand side of the desktop. The mac ones are all pretty much... Got a tip for us?
2 lis 2020 · Open a new finder window. From the menu bar, click on View. Click on Show Sidebar from the drop-down menu. This will bring back the sidebar menu as shown below. You can toggle back the Favorite list items if it is missing. That’s it. There is no need to go to the terminal or other commands.

24 lip 2011 · In Vista. Click on the Orb; Type Windows Sidebar Properties in Search; Press Enter; Tick Sidebar is always on top of other Windows. Click OK; Just tested it and it actually fits the windows next to the Sidebar when Maximized. Alternatively double click the icon in the TaskTray to quickly display it.
13 sie 2012 · If the sidebar is open and items are just missing, then moving the mouse just slightly to the right of the text will reveal a "Show" link. However, if the sidebar is missing completely from the finder window, simply key option/command/s at the same time to reveal the sidebar.
When I'm up and running sometimes I see that my sidebar is not showing up on my desktop. And then ometimes it does, If I move my cursor to the right side (where I want it to appear) and click, I get options for the desktop icons, and that's it.
