Select the button "Keyboard Shortcuts" which opens a sub-window. Select "Spotlight" in the sidebar. double tap on the current shortcut, usally: option + command + Space. now you can hit the shortcut you wish to have, like: command + E. written for macOS 13.4.1
You can choose to hide or show the sidebar, resize it, change the order in which sidebar items appear, or show only certain sidebar items. On your Mac, click in the Dock to open a Finder window. Hide or show the sidebar: In the menu bar, choose View > Hide Sidebar, or View > Show Sidebar.
2 lis 2020 · Open a new finder window. From the menu bar, click on View. Click on Show Sidebar from the drop-down menu. This will bring back the sidebar menu as shown below. You can toggle back the Favorite list items if it is missing. That’s it. There is no need to go to the terminal or other commands.
13 mar 2024 · From what I understand, there is a shortcut CRTL + SHIFT + / to show the sidebar in Windows, but it does not work on macOS.
21 lis 2020 · There is at least one officially supported, modern way to change the sidebar icon for a folder. If you enable a Finder Sync Extension and set it's directoryURLs to contain that folder, the app's custom sidebar icon should be used instead of the default icon.
2 mar 2023 · A bit of a long shot but you could try Command-dragging "Desktop" from the left pane of the Finder window to the top of the finder window. It'll create an alias there for the desktop.
