24 lip 2011 · In Vista. Click on the Orb; Type Windows Sidebar Properties in Search; Press Enter; Tick Sidebar is always on top of other Windows. Click OK; Just tested it and it actually fits the windows next to the Sidebar when Maximized. Alternatively double click the icon in the TaskTray to quickly display it.
Hide or show the sidebar: In the menu bar, choose View > Hide Sidebar, or View > Show Sidebar. (If Show Sidebar is dimmed, choose View > Show Toolbar.) Resize the sidebar: Hold your mouse over the divider between the sidebar and the window, then drag the right side of the divider to the right or left.
2 cze 2018 · Disconnect the power (MagSafe plug). If the display comes on, it means your power profile is set to turn brightness down when the AC is plugged in. Solution: While power is unplugged, login and verify that the brightness controls work. Then plug power in and turn the brightness up.

2 lis 2020 · Open a new finder window. From the menu bar, click on View. Click on Show Sidebar from the drop-down menu. This will bring back the sidebar menu as shown below. You can toggle back the Favorite list items if it is missing. That’s it. There is no need to go to the terminal or other commands.
