While giving comments many times I wanted to add links to my comment. But instead of using some short hand like Read "this" (this is a link in this case) I had to write Read "http:\\www.somelink.com". I tried ctrl+L to insert a link to my comment but it was of no use.

15 cze 2017 · I had link names that contained | (pipe) which caused links to not render as clickable text. Replacing | (pipe) with - (dash) fixed my issue. I want to add hyperlink on particular text to comment forum. When i selected text and tap on link icon, it will show [Selected text] (Link URL).

30 sty 2012 · FWIW, you can link to comments by combining the URL used behind the scenes to retrieve them with the internal ID for the specific comment: https://meta.stackexchange.com/posts/27319/comments#comment-57475
21 wrz 2010 · You can always put links in comments (since they are simply text, like the rest of the file). It depends on the IDE how these will be displayed - Visual Studio will make it a clickable hyperlink. Edit: If you want to reference other sections of your code from comments, there is no current support in visual studio for this.
