TBH, Oaktree is a fun place to shoot but it's half the size of Angeles in terms of personal space, both pistol and range side. If you could get about 5-6 people group, maybe private range rental is a better option for you at Burro($30 per person/$120 min) and Angeles($100half/$200full day).

25 mar 2009 · Re: Closest long range shooting areas near So Cal. If you can make the drive, you should try out Wes Thompson's Piru Gun Range. I've spent some great days sighting in on paper and then plinking at steel targets out to 600yds. There is also a steel plate at 1000yds.
