To be honest all of Shinee's albums would be considered contemporary art. The Story of Light albums are the easiest to talk about/understand as a art piece. The visual/design choices were made were made with a lot of meaning. (From my memory). Use of Primary colours and shapes = visual representation of "back to basics / bare bones".
The group was described as a “contemporary R&B group” with the hope that its talent and image would transcend music into dance and fashion. The group’s name is something of a portmanteau of the words “shine,” meaning light, and “ee,” which means to receive (said light).

2 cze 2018 · It was the fifth most sold album in South Korea that year and was ranked one of the “50 Greatest Boy Band Songs of All Time” by American publication Rolling Stone. The music video also featured Girls’ Generation member Jessica as the mysterious female lead.
18 lip 2018 · SHINee 샤이니 'Ring Ding Dong' MV. SHINee won several new act categories at Asian music awards in their first year, but it was the 2009, The Year Of Us EP that accelerated their trajectory. Out was the R&B of their debut single, and in was “ Ring Ding Dong ”s rhymically dense ‘afro-electro’ (as SM Entertainment call it).
Worth noting that the cover has a lot easter eggs and hidden images that allude to their previous Japanese title tracks which fits in perfectly with the whole 'Best Of' thing. There's even a twitter thread explaining most of the references. I've said this before, but UMJ really loves SHINee.
