  2. 25 paź 2019 · Replacing the Acera rear derailleur with the RD-M591 is possible. Despite being marketed as a "9-speed" rear derailleur (the 9 referring to the number gears/sprockets/cogs--all mean the same thing--that make up your rear cassette), the M591 will work.

    16 paź 2016 · Shimano Acera upgrade. I acquired a Gary Fisher hybrid and I want to upgrade the rear derailleur (7 speed) which is a Shimano Acera RD 340. The question is what is a decent upgrade from the Acera? it looks like it kind of fell apart, so I don't want to replace it with the same thing.
