3 kwi 2008 · Remove the two bolts as seen here. Unplug the two wires seen here. One is the power and the other is just the antenna. Remove the entire base from the roof. Once antenna base is removed, these are the holes you will see and that's how you remove the antenna base.

10 sie 2017 · I don't have a photo of the antenna removed, but what's left is a rectangular opening in the roof about 1 inch by 3/4 inch. The long side of the opening is parallel to the side of the car. When you buy a new antenna cover from the dealer ($32 Canadian), you get a new bolt, gasket, and retainer for the antenna base.
