What is rhyme? Can you give me an example of rhyme? Does this poem rhyme? Are the lines in this poem all the same length? Ask the students to count the syllables in each line of the poem. Do the lines of the poem have the same number of syllables? Do the syllables per line have a pattern such as 11, 7, 7, 11? Or 8, 6, 8, 6?
