The FREAB administers and enforces the real estate appraiser license law, Chapter 475, Part II, Florida Statutes. The Board is also empowered to pass rules that enable it to implement its statutorily authorized duties and responsibilities.
All applicants for appraisal certification must successfully complete two exams: The Florida Supplemental examination with a passing grade of 75 percent or higher, and the Residential National Exam or the General National Exam (score as determined by the AQB).
