Apparently, Java Version 8 (the one you linked to) won't work. The person in the video used JDK 16, but I downloaded JDK 20 and it seems to work well. You can download it here https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#jdk20-windows
i have a 1.19.4 server that i host from my pc when i try to use the server on my laptop, when running server.jar i get "a java exception has occured" popup, despite having the same java version on both pcs, java 8, and it works on my desktop, how do i fix this ?
