30 lip 2021 · 4.Using cmd and writing "java -jar server.jar" but got "Error: Unable to access jarfile server.jar" as an response. Please help me fix it. I am not sure if it might be the problem, but before downloading the server I portforwarded my router, if I messed up with this process, can it be the problem ?

8 lip 2022 · I installed forge directly but it showed "Downloading minecraft server failed, invalid checksum. Try again, or manually place server jar to skip download". So I downloaded server.jar manually and tried it again, then it said "Failed to download version manifest, can not find server jar URL.".
21 paź 2022 · Try executing the .jar file from command line (that is, open a command prompt and navigate to the folder containing the server .jar file via this command: cd C:\Users\MYNAME\Desktop\NewMinecraft and then execute the jar file with this command: NOTE: you should be able to press TAB after typing a few charachters of the .jar file for it to autofill.
Make sure the server jar isn't still running in the background. Check for a Java process in Task Manager.
