after download the server from https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server and download java from https://www.java.com/en/download/ i keep getting a java error when launching
30 lip 2021 · 3.Made an startserver.bat withh "java -Xms1024M -Xmx2048M -jar minecraft_server.jar" and launching it. 4.Using cmd and writing "java -jar server.jar" but got "Error: Unable to access jarfile server.jar" as an response. Please help me fix it.
when i try to use the server on my laptop, when running server.jar i get "a java exception has occured" popup, despite having the same java version on both pcs, java 8, and it works on my desktop, how do i fix this ?

21 paź 2022 · When I open my Minecraft Server I am often meet with the same error: "Error: Invalid or corrupt jarfile C:\Users\MYNAME\Desktop\NewMinecraft\minecraft_server 1.4_01.jar"
28 sie 2018 · If you're in windows explorer, navigate to the folder where the jar file is located and click on the folder bar, copy it. Then in command prompt, type cd and then left click to paste the folder path. Hit enter, then try to run server.jar again.
Make sure the server jar isn't still running in the background. Check for a Java process in Task Manager.
