11 cze 2021 · I play Minecraft on java edition and I decided to create a server. I'm going to multiple youtube videos and tutorials on the internet and nothings helping. here's the problem: when I install server.jar it won't let me open it. I attached an image of what it comes up with.
after download the server from https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server and download java from https://www.java.com/en/download/ i keep getting a java error when launching
3 wrz 2021 · I couldn't open my 1.17.1_server.jar with Java 8 so I download Java 16.0.2. Unfortunately, everytime I was opening the 1.17.1_server.jar file, I got "The Java JAR file "1.17._server.jar" could not be launched." . I first thought that it was because the file was launch by Java 8 instead of 16.
I followed the common instructions on the terminal, but at the "java -jar minecraft_server.jar --nogui" step, I got the "error: could not create the java virtual machine" "error: a fatal exception has occurred.
8 lip 2022 · Problem solved. IT IS the internet problem. Eventhough it failed when firstly install forge server/client, a folder named 'libraries' created in the target folder. Specifically, \libraries\net\minecraft\server, and it's empty.

9 sty 2021 · the forge file is named: server.jar. Error: Unable to access jarfile forgeserver.jar. You have the wrong jar name in the bat file. Add the correct jar name and then restart via the bat file.
