11 cze 2021 · I play Minecraft on java edition and I decided to create a server. I'm going to multiple youtube videos and tutorials on the internet and nothings helping. here's the problem: when I install server.jar it won't let me open it.
after download the server from https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server. and download java from https://www.java.com/en/download/. i keep getting a java error when launching. Java Virtual Machine Launcher.
After I realized this, I went back and copied and pasted the name of the server jar file (for me it was "minecraft_server.1.8.3.jar") under the correct directory and it worked perfectly! I just had to change Mojang's command from "minecraft_server.jar" to "minecraft_server.1.8.3.jar"...
30 lip 2021 · server.jar closes on start and doesnt do anything. I triend to set up my local minecraft server, after downloading and creating a folder for my server.jar, I clicked on it but it just closed and didnt do anything. 1.Checked if java is up to date. 2.Created EULA.txt and writing "eula=true".
3 wrz 2021 · I couldn't open my 1.17.1_server.jar with Java 8 so I download Java 16.0.2. Unfortunately, everytime I was opening the 1.17.1_server.jar file, I got "The Java JAR file "1.17._server.jar" could not be launched." . I first thought that it was because the file was launch by Java 8 instead of 16.
