Posts: 1. i have a 1.19.4 server that i host from my pc. when i try to use the server on my laptop, when running server.jar i get "a java exception has occured" popup, despite having the same java version on both pcs, java 8, and it works on my desktop, how do i fix this ?
You can download it here https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#jdk20-windows If you're worried about having two different Java installations, then you can uninstall Java Version 8 and everything will work the same.

Basically, I tried to create a Minecraft 1.19.2 server with forge 43.1.3, but It seems that my server can't find the JAR version file in the global jar directory or something... I tried everything, I tried to get this file via forge, installing a forge server on my computer but apparently we can't get the .jar & .json so easily anymore.
8 lip 2022 · Problem solved. IT IS the internet problem. Eventhough it failed when firstly install forge server/client, a folder named 'libraries' created in the target folder. Specifically, \libraries\net\minecraft\server, and it's empty.
Download minecraft_server.1.21.3.jar and run it with the following command: java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar. minecraft_server.1.21.3.jar. nogui. Should you want to start the server with its graphical user interface you can leave out the "nogui" part.
