Intro: John the Baptist was sent by God to proclaim the coming of Christ. We saw this in our study in Mark. God use Shepard’s to announce the birth of Christ. Elab on Shepard’s. If we are obedient to God He will use us too. Why these shepherds? They were watching their flocks that night near where Jesus was born. They were willing to be used.
