The Damien Center is the largest care center (providing both health and counseling services) for people with HIV/AIDS in Indianapolis, Indiana. It has been open since 1987 and is the longest-sustained project of the Indy Bag Ladies .
The Damien Center continues to provide comprehensive and innovative approaches to the care of those affected by HIV/AIDS in the Indianapolis Community, including care assessment, an on-site medical clinic, counseling services, a food pantry, housing assistance, and case management.

As the largest HIV/AIDS service organization in the state of Indiana, we provide services to more than 25% of all individuals living with HIV in the state. By making our wide variety of programs and services available in-house, we utilize a one-stop-shop approach to caring for those affected by HIV and preventing its spread.
