This past week we have battled strong winds from the east and northeast, which forced us to focus our fishing time in the marsh and back lakes.

East Galveston BayTrout are good for drifters working deep shell on limetreuse and plum Down South Lures and Lil' Johns. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp. West Galveston BayTrout and redfish are fair to good on live bait over reefs and under birds.
