S6.E1 ∙ The Way of the Road. Sun, Apr 16, 2006. Since out of jail Ricky starts making money in recyclables with Ray. Julian makes a lot of money in jail selling vodka, he uses this money to invest in real estate in the park. Ray has to find a new home when he gets evicted from Sunnyvale.
The only reason season 6 is so short and has a happy ending was for logistical reasons. As they were filming Season 6 and the movie back to back. So they made a short season with no rising conflict in order to fit in the production of the movie too.
you'll also notice that the trailer park boys movie came out 5-6 months after the airing of season 6 followed by a new season the next year without a break.. so.. nope.
Episodes. Original series. All episodes from seasons 1 to 7 are directed by series creator Mike Clattenburg who also co-wrote every episode. John Paul Tremblay who plays Julian and Robb Wells who plays Ricky also co-wrote all episodes.
The characters are suddenly in the dumps again after the way season 6 ended. It's shot differently and this lo-fi feeling is gone. The storyline with the train convention feels over the top and very different to the previous seasons.
