The Turtle Hospital (Hidden Harbor Marine Environmental Project, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation. We are a fully functioning veterinary hospital for sick and injured sea turtles. We rescue, rehab, and release sea turtles in the Florida Keys.
The Turtle Hospital is located at mile marker 48.5 on the Overseas Highway in Marathon, Florida Keys. 2396 Overseas Highway, Marathon, Florida 33050. The Turtle Hospital opened its doors in 1986 with four main goals: 1) Rehab injured sea turtles and release them back to their natural habitat.

25 mar 2020 · The Sea Turtle Hospital is so well known in the Keys that fishermen now bring him injured and sick turtles. But when they can’t, Richie sends out one of his two turtle ambulances. They’re equipped with kayaks and netting (in case a technician has to chase down an ailing turtle).
The Turtle Hospital’s mission is to rescue, rehab, and release sea turtles. You will start with a very informative educational session about the different species found in the Florida Keys and the threats facing them today, especially the human impact.
