I've followed the steps to add the Script Extender, and loaded the game, but BG3MM still shows Script Extender as missing ( [MISSING] Requires ScriptExtender v4 or higher. No installed extender version found.).

Yes. The game was updated and there is no new extender download! The Script Extender auto-updates; there is no new release on Github when a Script Extender update happens, the game will download and apply it automatically when launching.
