The video compression is way too high and causes large blocks of pixels & blurriness, especially causing dark parts of the frame to be distractingly blurry. It feels almost like low quality video even though I've selected the max resolution for the channel (720p or 1080p). I have an Apple TV 4K connected to a 55" Samsung Q80T.
Place the cloth over the affected area. Gently press with your finger or a blunt, soft object. Maintain pressure for 5-10 seconds. Turn the Monitor Back On: While still applying pressure, power up the screen. Release Pressure: Remove your finger and cloth to see if the dead pixel has been revived.
Check if there are any defective pixels on the monitor. All of the pixels should be green. If you see a black pixel, this indicates a missing green subpixel.
