I’m not going to check for dead pixels unless I’m happy with valves handling of the issue. If they RMA for a single dead pixel and provide a new LE OLED replacement then I’ll def check for dead pixels. Otherwise I’d rather not know…

24 lis 2023 · I wasn’t going to go looking for dead pixels whatsoever… but then playing some games and looking through my game library 😬 1 small dot that I thought might just be dust or a smudge. Did dead pixel test the works, it still stared at me. Checked my panel and I have boe oled panel.

10 maj 2022 · if a pixel died soon after the first days, you should ask for replacement a soon as possible. that means a defective screen skipped the quality check, which can happen sometimes.
If you have purple on a white screen, that means that you have the red & blue working, but not the green (unless both are stuck). You'll be able to tell based on what happens with the dead pixel test. On the green background, if a black dot appears, you have a dead subpixel.
