Test your monitor for dead pixels with Dead Pixel Tester. Enter full screen mode and switch between colors with the space bar.
Place the cloth over the affected area. Gently press with your finger or a blunt, soft object. Maintain pressure for 5-10 seconds. Turn the Monitor Back On: While still applying pressure, power up the screen. Release Pressure: Remove your finger and cloth to see if the dead pixel has been revived.
