17 lut 2018 · I've tried using all renders (with vsync on and off). Using vsync option automatically gives me screen tearing 100% of the time (Which is odd because vsync prevents screen tearing). If I don't use vsync sometimes my game has no screen tear.
I've noticed with a lot of games i get screen tearing. I've tried the various synchronization options in Retroarch. I know that PS3 games are region free but are PAL systems region locked to 50hz for XMB and Retroarch?

Update: Turning Vsync ON does not fix the mipmapping issues but it does resolve a lot of screen tearing which is surprising since my hardware was not limiting FPS but wow the difference is huge. Hi, just to say that I used the latest rpcs3 version and there is still the mipmapping issue...
I would conclude that tearing is occurring in fullscreen mode because the v-sync option in RPCS3 is simply broken, at least with nVidia cards and current drivers. Could you open an issue on the RPCS3 Github about this so dev team sees it?
The PlayStation 3 is a home console developed by Sony. It was released in 2006. PS3 emulation is only available on x86_64 (i.e. not on Raspberry Pi, Odroid or other SBCs). This system scrapes metadata for the ps3 group and loads the ps3 set from the currently selected theme, if available.
26 mar 2023 · I think there's nothing you can do to get rid of screen tearing on PS3, many old consoles like PS2 and xbox 360 have that issue, but most games of xbox 360 have v-sync enabled on Xbox One/Series, or on PC you can enable it too.
