1 kwi 2018 · Food safety is a basic human right. Billions of people in the world are at risk of unsafe food. Many millions become sick while hundreds of thousands die every year because they consume unsafe food. Therefore, safe food saves lives. Safe food enhances individual and population health.
Food and nutrition security is a complicated problem that is influenced by various factors, including access to food, individual physiology, and disease (Clark et al., 2019). The food system, which encompasses production, processing, distribution, and consumption, is a key driver of food safety.
The journal encompasses various relevant areas, including emerging toxic substances, novel food‐related nanomaterials, food biosafety, approaches to food authenticity, biodegradation of food hazards, precision nutrition for health, and much more.
IJFSNPH contributes to the improvement of public health through quality research and a better understanding of the science involved in food safety, nutrition and dietetics, food studies, food and restaurant management.
