In the event of inclement weather or emergencies, the following guidelines are observed. If Rochester Public Schools are cancelled for the day, all Community Education classes are cancelled. If school begins late, Community Education classes will not meet in the AM session.
In the event that schools are closed due to severe weather or other emergency situations, an announcement will be made on local T.V. and radio stations. The District will notify stations by 5:00 a.m. if schools are closed for the day.
