I just wanted to make sure people knew there was a new FE2 (Gaiden) romhack available with the official naming from SoV implemented. The previous translation patch was updated by Lopo and posted on the Serenes Forest forums using a font from Mega Koopa.
The download link in the FE universe post for staff of ages is the current one, it's not a GBA hack anymore as that was discontinued. When you download the files there's a readme notepad with all the simple instructions of what to download (mainly microsoft xna) to play the current game!

However, that thread hasn't been updated since 2015 and a lot of the patches that are listed aren't really the best ones. I wanted to list all the best English translation patches for all Fire Emblem games...

For other Nintendo platforms I'd recommend: SNES: Snes9x. DS: DeSmuME. 3DS: Citra. For Switch I use Ryujinx. Looking for the best/safest PC emulators for the games. Preferably at least the GameCube game but any of them besides sacred stones would be nice :)
