18 cze 2012 · “The falls are not closed you just cannot enter from the bottom because it is private property. Go up skyline as mentioned above. At the low rim, take the dirt trail back down to the left around the canyon to the creek. You can go north or south to the lower three falls.
29 maj 2024 · The following April, a new Forest Order opened the trail only from Big Tree Road to the stream crossing. A recently signed USFS Forest Order will keep the forest area off the trail, including "Sapphire Falls," CLOSED through May 2026.
Sapphire Falls in Rancho Cucamonga Forest closure's been in effect from 24APR2021 through 23APR2022. Every year since 2013 the order has been continuously reinstated and I expect it will be like this indefinitely.
I love Sapphire Falls. Relaxing, nice sized rooms and amenities, and close enough that you can take a boat back and forth. The downside is that for not too much more, you can get a room at one of the "premier" hotels and everyone in the room gets an express pass for the duration of your stay...including arrival and departure dates.
