You are updating the Support Package Stack (SPS) in your Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) system via Maintenance Planner. The latest Patch Levels contain the latest fixes for the Support Package (SP) released, so it makes sense to have these included for your PI system.
4 mar 2015 · if you are upgrading to PO then you need to upgrade the hardware then migrate the interfaces. this is a big project. if you have less time then best option would be upgrade to Netweaver 7.4 (dual stack) SP09 available since Nov-2014. as you are currently on volume based licencing, you don't need any extra licence to upgrade the 7.4 dual stack ...

1 mar 2014 · We are upgrading from SAP PI 7.1 to SAP PI 7.4(Dual Stack). Since we are moving dual stack version of 7.4, I don't see much impact. Can anyone let me know the impact/issue we might face in upgrade?
