Cash payment is no longer collected at any of the eight toll bridges. There are four ways to pay bridge tolls: FasTrak®, License Plate Account, One-Time Payment, and Invoice. The Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District manages operations on the Golden Gate Bridge.
All seven of the Bay Area’s state owned bridges have permanently transition to all-electronic tolling. You can use either FasTrak to pay your toll, or set up a License Plate Account.

You have 48 hours to pay a toll after crossing the bridge. Payments can be made online , over the phone or in person by contacting the Customer Service Center . Short-term one-time payment accounts also receive a discount.
