Online preparation for the San Jose Police Department entrance exam and oral board interview. Timed practice exams and quizzes with hundreds of multiple choice questions similar to those you will most likely see on the San Jose Police Department entrance exam.
National Testing Network (NTN): Complete the National Testing Network Test (NTN). Pass Point scores are 60% Video, 65% Reading, and 65% Writing. Nationwide classroom and/or virtual exams available. Results valid for three years. NTN will forward exam results to SJPD Recruiting Unit.
The Academy offers entrance assessment and pre-employment testing for Law Enforcement, Fire Services, Dispatch Communications, and Corrections candidates.
The San Jose Police Department uses two exams for their written test. Applicants can choose between California's PELLETB or the Frontline National test. PELLETB is an abbreviation for POST Entry Level Law Enforcement Test Battery.
