9 sty 2023 · I've seen more than one traditionalist 1911 owner state that there's no need for such a short 1911/2011 and I disagree with that. I can shoot the SAS II just as well as a Commander single-stack while having more ammo, while also being able to better conceal the SAS II.

The trigger is at 2 lb 14 ounces (3 pull average). Trigger break is nice! The sights are very nice. I like that the rears are blacked out. Not sure I like the front fiber-optic on a dedicated carry gun, though. The bobbed hammer will take some getting used to (no, I don't decock 1911s). I'm waiting for my sensibilities to adjust.
