1 lis 2016 · So my power steering of late started to make the occasional moan and groan whilst maneuvering at low speeds. Fluid level was ok, but figured it probably needed a change as not sure it's ever been done in 12 years and 83k. This is what came out, and it had a strong burnt odor. Yikes!

20 maj 2020 · Power steering fluid leaks are usually caused by a cracked or worn-out hose that feeds the power steering pump. Also give the hose clamps and other connections a careful inspection. If the hoses and clamps check out OK, move on to the power steering pump.
