The California Highway Patrol (CHP) 11-99 Foundation was established in 1982 by philanthropist, Bob Weinberg, to provide emergency benefits and assistance to CHP employees and their families and scholarships to their children. The 11-99 Foundation celebrates 42 years of serving the CHP community.
Since 1984, the 11-99 Foundation has provided over $44 million in scholarships to children of CHP employees, helping thousands of deserving students achieve their educational dreams. In 2024, the 11-99 Foundation awarded $3.5 million in scholarship awards to over 1,000 recipients statewide.
