TL;DR: I was getting calls from "Sallie Mae" corporate in order for them to get a hold of my dad. Assumed it was a scam, until my dad found a fraudulent Sallie Mae loan on his credit report. Suddenly getting calls again, this time for a presumably fake person who I do not know.
