Deku is a very hard boss with a lot of HP. Once this boss has been defeated he will drop One For All's Grace which can make your All For One go above stage 4 all the way up to Stage 9 (after Stage 4 you can't use pass down to attain stage 5). You will need 5 One For All's Grace in total to obtain the last stage, Stage 9.
