19 wrz 2008 · I have a VFG on my full-size Tromix S12 and it's extremely controllable under rapid fire. I highly recommend having one. Clearance with 10-round mags is not an issue (just move it forward a little bit if it is) and get a high-quality grip. A cheap, crappy one will not work too well with 12-gauge recoil.
17 cze 2021 · The Saiga 12 is the original AK shotgun to come out of Russia. They are excellent guns, but are they worth their current prices?
It's actually not. It's a side effect of using a detachable box mag to feed shotgun shells. If you can get your hands on some brass casings and load those up, you can get around the issue.
13 sty 2015 · This gun is heavy and bulky, but that is the price you pay for maximum firepower. The main downside to this gun in my opinion is the gas ports clog up relatively quickly. Plastic and carbon fouling can quickly cause issues with reliability.
22 cze 2010 · The gun is 100% better than it was when I first got it! It is 100% reliable (just keep it clean). I couldn't be happier with it at this point, and is now my favorite weapon.
17 mar 2024 · The Saiga's been fantastic. Great performance, great reliability, overall a really fun platform. The only issue I've run into was a bit of light striking, but then again where I live it routinely gets to over 110° F. Easy fix though, just get a stronger hammer spring or shim the stock one.
26 lip 2012 · I've added a tri-rail, Hogue pistol grip, a weapon light, folding vertical foregrip, and the CSS low brass reliability kit. With the kit, it eats everything I've fed it so far. I don't know that there's a lot of practical uses for it, but the cool factor is pretty high, and it's a good time.
